Baby News!

clock May 26, 2003 01:53 by author karie.lanou

Boy do we have news!

The Bar S ranch has become the proud owner of three new babies within the span of two weeks!

The first to make an appearance was that of Bar S Ginger's new filly.  It has a white base with brown and black spots.  It seems to be all legs so we believe it will be a tall horse.  Jessica and Justin have spoken for this one and they sure will stay busy this summer.  They now have two babies that will have to be trained to be great trail horses in years to come.

The second arrival was that of Darl'n.  She gave birth to a cute little filly with a little white on her face.  Darl'n is part Percheron mare and has a glossy black coat she has past on to her foal. The white on her face makes her just "darling"!

The third and final appearance was that of Dreamview's Dawn highly anticipated foal.  She gave birth to a little filly who already less than 2 days old is gaiting up a storm.  She is light brown with a black tail and black nose plus a black leg.  We are just so excited on all the color we produced this year.  We already have two palominos from Dawn and were hoping for more color on the ranch.  Boy, did we get it!

Pictures will be forthcoming on the Looseriders' "horses" section.  Don't forget to come back and check them out.  We have no names for them yet but we are open to suggestions.  Don't hesitate to email us at Looseriders with yours.

Most Excited,

Karie

After extensive research, it has come to the attention of Loose Riders that Dreamview Dawn of The Bar S Ranch will be the proud owner of a double registered foal in July of 2003.  Dawn was bred to a stallion named Dice out of Boscobel, WI who is both KMSHA and RMHA registered.  Therefore, Dawn's foal will be eligible for double registration. Our congratulations goes out to the Bar S!
